Urban Strategies Council is located at 1720 Broadway Ave (Second Floor)and above the 19th St BART station.

BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit)

Exit BART at Oakland 19th St and take the stairs or elevator up to the 17th St exit and we're right at the top! Too easy. If you prefer to alight at City Center/12th St station just walk the few blocks down Broadway and we're on the right.

From San Francisco Airport

Take Route 101 North to San Francisco. Continue through San Francisco to the Bay Bridge (I-80 East). Take the Bay Bridge to the East Bay and follow signs to I-580 East. Follow I-580 to I-980 Downtown Oakland and take the Exit 19C for 19th Street exit. Turn left on 17th. Go 6 blocks on 17th to Broadway Ave, turn left. Go two blocks to 1720 Broadway. Limited metered street parking is available and there are lots close by.

From San Francisco

Take the Bay Bridge (I-80) to the East Bay and follow signs to I-580 East. Follow I-580 to I-980 Downtown Oakland and take the Exit 19C for 19th Street exit. Turn left on 17th. Go 6 blocks on 17th to Broadway Ave, turn left. Go two blocks to 1720 Broadway. Limited metered street parking is available and there are lots close by.

From Hayward, South Bay, San Jose and Palo Alto

Travel north on I-880 and merge right onto I-980N. Take the exit for 17th St and head along Castro for three blocks once you exit the freeway. Turn right on 20th St and travel 4 blocks to Broadway. Turn right onto Broadway and we are on the left on the first block.

From Oakland Airport

When leaving the airport, follow the signs to Hegenberger Road to I-880 North. Travel north on I-880 and merge right onto I-980N. Take the exit for 17th St and head along Castro for three blocks once you exit the freeway. Turn right on 20th St and travel 4 blocks to Broadway. Turn right onto Broadway and we are on the left on the first block.

From North Berkeley

Take I-80 West to I-580 and follow signs to I-980 (Downtown Oakland). Follow I-580 to I-980 Downtown Oakland and take the Exit 19C for 19th Street exit. Turn left on 17th. Go 6 blocks on 17th to Broadway Ave, turn left. Go two blocks to 1720 Broadway. Limited metered street parking is available and there are lots close by.

From Contra Costa County

Take Hwy. 24 West to I-580 and follow signs to I-980 (Downtown Oakland). Follow I-580 to I-980 Downtown Oakland and take the Exit 19C for 19th Street exit. Turn left on 17th. Go 6 blocks on 17th to Broadway Ave, turn left. Go two blocks to 1720 Broadway. Limited metered street parking is available and there are lots close by.
