Elijah Gilbert

Elijah Gilbert (he/him) is a rising senior at Oakland Tech High School. Eli aspires to become a barber and one day own his own barbershop. He’s passionate about his craft and has already taken an early step toward his dream by running a studio out of the back of his home. When he's not cutting hair, you can find him playing basketball and grabbing food with friends. Eli plans to pursue a business degree at a CSU and earn his barber license. A resilient and driven student, he enjoys sharing his knowledge in areas close to his heart—faith, basketball, and barbering. He also loves giving advice and spending time with his family playing games or making music. Music is a big part of Eli’s life—he listens daily, driving, working, or relaxing at home. Michael Jackson has been one of his favorite artists.
