
Teri Carlyle
Director of Finance and Operations
Teri Carlyle has served as the Director of Finance & Operations at Urban Strategies for the past 17 years, bringing deep expertise in organizational leadership, financial stewardship, and operational excellence. In this role, she has been instrumental in strengthening systems, driving operational strategy, and supporting the organization’s mission through sound fiscal management.
Teri’s professional path took on new meaning when her grandmother, Rachel Daniels, was diagnosed with dementia. Motivated by this personal experience, Teri immersed herself in learning about Alzheimer’s disease and became a passionate advocate committed to advancing awareness, education, and research.
In addition to her professional work, Teri is an active community leader in the Alzheimer’s movement. She serves on the Black Alzheimer’s Association Advisory Council, works as an Alzheimer’s Community Educator, and contributes as a member of the Solano Walk to End Alzheimer’s Committee. Teri also lends her voice at both the state and national levels as a dedicated Alzheimer’s advocate, championing policies and resources to support families facing dementia.
Her leadership, advocacy, and unwavering commitment continue to drive meaningful impact in the fight to end Alzheimer’s.
