Teri Carlyle is the Director of Finance and Operations at Urban Strategies Council. In this role, she handles all areas of accounting ranging from Accounts Receivables and Payables to grant management and financial statement preparation and acts as the liaison with all the fiscal sponsor partnerships. Teri has over 20 years of experience working in the non-profit sector. Prior to joining Urban Strategies Council, Teri was an Independent Contractor working for various non-profit organizations throughout the Bay Area.
Teri obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from Cal State University, Hayward. Teri is a member of the Black Alzheimer’s Association Advisory Council. Teri enjoys planning community conversations for the African American community. In her spare time, Teri gives back to the communities that she loves, whether that’s by distributing tents, hygiene kits or meals to the homeless OR delivering groceries to Senior citizens and families suffering from food security. Teri lives by the motto “It’s a Blessing to be a Blessing!"
