Access to educational opportunities has historically been an important strategy for promoting racial equity and advancing life-long economic and social outcomes. USC focuses on:

• Addressing barriers to education access; supporting and developing culturally-affirming,  relevant, and life-long opportunities for positive educational outcomes; and building knowledge for community organizations and leaders.

• Developing programs and opportunities for youth. Focusing on deep outreach, expanding experiences, and creating successful youth-led models. Challenging institutions to look beyond established models, uplift youth voices, and strengthen leadership growth.

• Providing technical, research, and policy support for educational, workforce development and career pathway programs.
