Marie Miller

Virtual Programs Manager

Marie Miller is a proud alumna of Virginia State University, where she laid the foundation for her journey in community service. She furthered her education with a Masters degree in Urban and Regional Planning from SUNY at Buffalo, equipping her with the skills to make impactful changes throughout her beloved community. Her career spans from higher education to the nonprofit sector. She has a passion for serving her community through education and mental health advocacy. With experience coordinating mental health initiatives and managing educational programs, the past four years, Marie has hosted Urban Strategies Council’s Mental Health Mondays (MHM) series. MHM is a virtual psycho-educational group for the Black Community to hear and learn from mental health professionals and to break the stigma on mental health in the Black Community.

A self-proclaimed resource and people connector, she loves to curate spaces for people to gather, share, and learn.
