San Antonio Neighborhood Network

The Urban Strategies Council is serving as the coordinating organization for the San Antonio Neighborhood Network, part of Annie E. Casey Foundation's Making Connections Initiative in the Lower San Antonio neighborhood of Oakland. We are providing general coordination and staff support for the San Antonio Neighborhood Network, the Network's governing body, as well as to the Network's five issue-specific working groups. This work involves providing technical assistance in the areas of facilitation, strategic planning, effective collaboration, resident engagement, and building the capacity of participating organizations and community residents so that they can eventually sustain the work on their own.
