RESEARCH ASSOCIATE JOB DESCRIPTION

Urban Strategies Council (the Council) seeks a Research Associate to support multi-year research and evaluation initiatives in Oakland and the Bay Area. This search seeks a person with a strong background in social science and community-focused participatory research and evaluation design and outreach. The Research Associate will support staff in data-driven research projects, including geospatial analysis and mapping, statistical analysis, IRB approvals, creating infographics and charts, fact-checking, co-authoring, proofreading, editing reports, and other project-related activities. This position is a chance to demonstrate technical and analytical competence in applied social science, data-driven, research and evaluation efforts that create change and to be part of a great team.
