PROGRAM ASSISTANT JOB DESCRIPTION

This position seeks a candidate with a strong background in community engagement and outreach, community-based participatory research design, and community capacity building. The Program Assistant is an entry to mid-level staff position that will assist the Program Director in developingand coordinating a program to strengthen the ability of Oakland community leaders and organizations working to prevent community violence. This role requires the ability to coordinate curriculum/program development, logistics, assessment, and evaluation, and strong competence in administrative tasks.
