NNIP Convening: Oakland, October 2010
The National Neighborhood Indicators Partnership (NNIP) meets twice a year in a member city. As a founding member, Oakland was proud to host this growing network of field-leading professionals in the community indicators and data analysis world. This meeting was focused on equity, and the role it plays in our work, in the philosophy or misison that drives our work and in the actual efforts and projects we carry out. Session topics dealt with K-12 Education, Neighborhood Crime Trends, Housing issues, Community Capacity Building, Business practices and a common shared indicators platform.
