Central City East
The Central City East Project Area is one of the newest and is the second largest redevelopment area in Oakland. It is comprised of four sub-areas, designated around the major commercial corridors in the area (from north to south):
- Eastlake (International Blvd corridor)
- Fruitvale/San Antonio (Fruitvale Ave corridor and Foothill Blvd corridor)
- Central East Oakland (Foothill Blvd corridor and Bancroft Ave corridor)
- Elmhurst (Bancroft Ave commercial corridor)
