Discussion

  • Discussion of Promotoras joining in CO work group meeting or staying with HWG
  • Concern that we might not talk about the strategies related to health that need to be discussed.
  • ECE would be a good place for the health insurance piece to be worked on.
  • Anna – regardless of what happens, the Promotoras program should remain well connected to the CO work group. We will send a rep to this meeting every month.
  • One strategy is evolving into a resident-led work group (brining residents from different groups to guide the process)
  • Kerry – we need a place to send people, a collaborative space. Anna agreed. In Lawrence, they have such a space.
  • Elena - the cultural center will provide live/work space. There could be space for the LSAC. Elena will bring a diagram of the space to the JC meeting.
