Announcements and Quick Business

Fred-Site team presentation went well. He expects that the collaborative will move in to phase two. The foundation is beginning to focus on what they mean by Family Strengthening. Investment and Resources commitments linked to common ground outcomes.

Elements of the Outcomes Framework

  • What are the elements of an outcomes framework that the Casey Foundation is looking for?
    1. Identify a set of results and outcomes
    2. Set of strategies to achieve results. This is an opportunity to talk about new strategies maybe done by collaborative members or others who aren’t at the table.
    3. Should identify partners to help implement strategies.
    4. What is the current context picture in the Lower San Antonio (baseline data).
    5. Set of indicators to measure progress against baseline.
    6. Analysis and description if what we need for AECF.
    • A delegation from Oakland should be identified to present outcomes to Casey.
  • Casey Foundation’s Common Ground results

Role of National Community Development Institute

  • Provide facilitation and support to the outcomes development process.

Support for Outcomes Development Process

  • What support, training, or resources do LSA Collaborative members need to complete this process (i.e., facilitation training, support for resident engagement, etc.)?

Proposed Agenda for July 22nd Retreat

  • Discuss whether organization priorities reflect resident priorities.
    • Should identify what a resident priority is.
    • Should look at specific survey – OFCY, PIC
