Early Childhood Education TeamThe Early Childhood Education Work Group has been awarded grants from the Annie E. Casey Foundation and the Haas Jr. Fund for their work on Result #7: Children are healthy and ready to succeed in school. Led by Oakland Ready to Learn and Lao Family Community Development, the work group is focused on increasing family involvement in early literacy activities, developing parent and community leadership to influence school readiness, and working with providers to increase the availability of quality child care.
